1. About these terms
These Terms of Use cover Money Tracker, the OnWeeks website and related support provided by Yevhenii Pavlenko, operating as OnWeeks ("we", "us" or "the developer"). Please read them before using the app or website. If you do not agree, do not use them.
For an app obtained through the App Store, Apple’s applicable usage rules and Standard End User License Agreement also apply unless a custom license is expressly provided through the App Store. These terms supplement, and do not override, the applicable App Store agreement or any rights that cannot legally be waived.
2. A personal record-keeping tool
Money Tracker is a personal record-keeping tool for organizing information you enter about your money. It is not a bank, payment service, accountant or financial adviser. It does not hold or move your funds, initiate or process payments, pay bills or taxes, cancel subscriptions, file tax returns or satisfy legal reporting obligations on your behalf.
Adding, editing or deleting a transaction, subscription or tax item changes your personal bookkeeping records and related balances, calculations and reminders. It does not carry out a financial transaction, subscribe you to a service, change its terms, renew or cancel a subscription, or authorize a charge. Automatic subscription expense entries also affect only app records; they do not debit a bank account or charge a payment card.
Marking an item as paid records information about a payment outside Money Tracker. It does not send a payment instruction or independently confirm that a bank, payment recipient or tax authority has received, accepted or credited any money. The bookkeeping features do not transmit your records or payment instructions to banks, payment processors or subscription providers to execute or verify payments or manage subscriptions.
Tax amounts, periods, deadlines and statuses are calculated from the records and settings in the app, including the rates, tax bases and rules you configure. Money Tracker does not determine which tax laws apply to you, monitor changes in those laws, access or monitor your official tax account, or submit your records or reports to a tax authority. Its figures and statuses may differ from official assessments or records. iCloud synchronization of your personal records is described in section 4 and our Privacy policy.
Balances, charts, forecasts, exchange conversions, goals, tax calculations and reminders are informational aids. They may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Independently verify figures, dates and obligations against original records and qualified advice before making a financial, tax, legal or business decision. You remain responsible for your decisions and obligations.
3. Permitted use
You may use the app and website for lawful purposes in accordance with these terms and your applicable app license. You must have legal capacity to agree to these terms, or use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required.
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, distribute malicious software, or violate other people’s rights. The app, website and OnWeeks branding remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party and open-source materials retain their own licenses. Nothing here limits activities that the law expressly permits.
4. Your records, synchronization and backups
Money Tracker stores records locally in the app’s private storage on your device. iCloud synchronization and automatic exchange-rate updates are enabled by default. When iCloud is available to the app, app data automatically synchronizes through Apple’s CloudKit service with the private database associated with your Apple Account. This keeps a cloud copy for synchronization between your compatible devices using the same Apple Account and for restoration of available records after a reinstall or device change.
After initial setup, local record-keeping features can be used without an internet connection. To turn off cloud synchronization and exchange-rate downloads, switch off “iCloud sync” in Settings and “Automatic exchange rate updates” in Settings → Exchange rates. The app then uses locally stored records and rates, which you can edit manually. A new installation requires an internet connection for initial startup checks. These settings do not disable technical connectivity checks to Apple; the Privacy policy explains those requests.
Turning these settings off stops new synchronization and exchange-rate updates; work already in progress may finish. Disabling iCloud synchronization does not erase data already stored in iCloud or in backups, and does not turn off Apple’s separate device backup features. Manage those copies and backup settings separately. Turning synchronization back on allows local and iCloud data to synchronize again.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for protecting access to your device and accounts, and for maintaining independent copies of records you need. Do not rely on Money Tracker as the only record of money owed, payments, subscriptions, taxes or other obligations.
Data can be lost, corrupted, duplicated, delayed or made inaccessible. This can happen during normal use, synchronization, migrations, app or iOS updates, device changes, reinstalls, storage failures or interruptions. An iCloud synchronization feature is not a promise of permanent archival storage or successful restoration. The developer may be unable to recover your records.
5. Purchase, availability and support
Your purchase provides a license to use Money Tracker under the applicable App Store license. The app’s features and compatibility requirements are described in its App Store listing. The purchase does not include custom development or a promise of lifetime updates, indefinite technical support, or compatibility with every future device or operating-system version. This does not affect any express commitment made at purchase or any updates, support or remedies required by applicable law.
The app and website may contain defects or become partly or entirely unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free calculations, delivery of every reminder, successful synchronization, or compatibility with every device or present or future iOS version.
Subject to obligations imposed by applicable law and any express commitments at the time of purchase, we may change features, release or stop releasing updates, change supported operating systems, suspend distribution, or end the app, website or support. Future Apple platform changes or third-party service changes may make a feature or the entire app unusable.
For questions or problems with Money Tracker, contact us using the support details provided in these terms. Unless expressly agreed or required by law, we do not guarantee a particular response time, resolution time, feature request or recovery of lost records. Any decision to discontinue optional support or further feature development remains subject to applicable law and commitments made at purchase.
Where notice, a remedy or an update is legally required, these terms do not remove that obligation. Plan for the possibility that the app may no longer be available and retain important information independently.
6. Third-party services
The app may depend on Apple, iCloud, exchange-rate providers, internet connectivity and other services outside the developer’s control. Support may take place through email or Discord. These services may have their own terms, restrictions, charges, privacy practices and interruptions.
We do not control or guarantee the accuracy, availability, security or continued operation of independent services. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for failures attributable to them. This does not exclude a responsibility that the law places on us for our own selection, integration or use of a service.
7. No additional warranties
Where permitted by law, Money Tracker and the website are supplied as they currently exist and when available. We give no additional warranty that they will meet your particular needs, preserve every record, remain secure against every threat, produce accurate results or remain supported indefinitely.
To the extent that applicable law allows a disclaimer, we disclaim implied warranties and conditions concerning satisfactory quality, suitability for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. Informal support messages do not create an additional warranty. Express commitments that form part of your purchase and mandatory statutory guarantees remain unaffected.
8. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 9 and only where applicable law allows, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use Money Tracker. This exclusion includes losses associated with inaccurate calculations, outdated exchange rates, missed reminders, lost or corrupted records, unauthorized access, or failures of external services, but only insofar as those losses fall within a category that may lawfully be excluded.
Where a financial cap is enforceable, the developer’s aggregate liability for the relevant app or service is limited to the amount you actually paid for it. This cap does not reduce a refund, compensation, statutory guarantee or other remedy that applicable law requires. If a limitation cannot lawfully apply to your claim, the applicable law determines the developer’s responsibility instead.
9. Rights that remain protected
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, gross negligence where it cannot be excluded, or any other responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
Your mandatory consumer rights, digital-content guarantees, privacy and data-protection rights, and rights under applicable App Store rules remain in force. You are not required to waive a legally protected remedy, a right to complain to a regulator, or access to a court that has jurisdiction. An exclusion in these terms applies only to the extent it is lawful in your circumstances.
10. Refunds
For purchases billed by Apple, request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service, or contact Apple Support if you cannot submit the request there. Apple administers refunds through its purchase system. Eligibility depends on applicable law and the refund rules for your country or region.
You may also contact us about problems with Money Tracker. Contacting us first is not a condition for exercising a refund or other statutory right. This refund process does not restrict any remedy that applicable law allows you to claim directly from the developer.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy policy describes on-device data, iCloud synchronization and automatic exchange-rate updates enabled by default, the controls for turning them off, device backups, external requests and information you choose to send to support. These terms do not authorize additional data collection or waive a statutory privacy obligation. Please read that policy alongside these terms.
12. Changes, stopping use and disputes
You may stop using the app or website at any time. Keep any records you need before removing the app. Removing the app does not automatically remove backups or cancel subscriptions you track in it.
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the app, website or legal requirements. The date at the top identifies the revision. We will provide notice or obtain agreement where the law requires it. A revision does not retrospectively remove rights or remedies that have already arisen.
If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the extent it can lawfully do so, and the remaining provisions continue where possible. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined by the rules that apply to your circumstances; these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive protected rights to bring a claim. Please contact us first if you would like us to try to resolve a concern.
